Make-A-Wish Foundation Chooses Andrew Reynolds As Ambassador

Andrew Reynolds is one of the successful business entrepreneur and also a philanthropist.

As the Make-A-Wish Foundation celebrated it’s 21st anniversary Andrew Reynolds was chosen as the 21st Anniversary Ambassador to the said foundation in UK.

Andrew Reynolds was able to help and support the said foundation, in which he offers support and funding for then in order to help and grant more wishes and also granting ongoing fund raising opportunities for the charity and with a strong commitment to raising its profile.

Make-A-Wish Foundation purpose is to help those who needs more attention and also grant wishes for children who are suffering from illnesses especially those that are life threatening.

This foundation has it’s main office at Camberley, Surrey. Make-A-Wish seems to be the answer for the people who needs help. Since 1986, Make-A-Wish has granted over 4,400 wishes. Aside from Andrew Reynolds, Esther Rantzan, Sir Paul McCartney and even Mickey Mouse was chosen the 21st Anniversary Ambassadors. This been the answer for the people wishes to be granted. As Andrew Reynolds chosen to be the Ambassador for the said foundation, he was been honored and it’s very rewarding to be a part of the said charity.

There are a lot of children who were suffering from life threatening illnesses and in UK alone, there were more that 20, 000 children who are suffering from the said illnesses. And with the help of the said charity, for many families, Make-A-Wish can be the last happy memory they could ever give to their children; they are having fun together with their family and friends in a magical world.

Last year the charity was able to raised about 3 million. By 2007, the target of the said foundation is to raise 3.6 million and hopefully increase to 5 million in 2010 in order to achieve granting 1,000 wishes a year.

Neil Jones, the CEO of the said was very happy and delighted with the support of the local businesses and also thankful with Andrew Reynolds for his donations and with the ongoing support to the said charity. He also added that with the support of Andrew Reynolds, the foundation were still able to support and and accepting the role of being the Ambassador.
